A Spontaneous Math Puzzle On The Farm
Can you use the basic operations to use the 6 numbers on the left to get the value on the right?
I think this was connected to a truck for Kings Langley Sacaffolding Ltd. After finishing another day of work at the farm, I was walking around the farm, looking for more chances to marvel at the beauty of nature. I enjoyed the sunset as usual, and I walked through the woods, taking a gander at the many abandoned equipment and vehicles at the farm.
Though these tractors and caravans were no longer in use, they have become a hotbed for fungi and flora to thrive on. Life breeds life. And even the dead becomes alive. That scene took me back to when I was playing the Last of Us, when Joel and Ellie were travelling through the chaos in springtime. The winter left many cities deserted, but spring gave forged a new leaf on their journey.
I also opened the beehive box of Pandora out of curiosity. As soon as I tried to lift up that crate, I could hear the hustle bustle of the worker bees buzzing around. But before long, I had to run 20 meters away from the vicinity as one of them flylings wanted to sting me down.
Anyway, I hope me feeble attempt at giving you a cerebral guided tour of my farm life at dawn.
Now it’s time to do some math and figure out how to turn the numbers 923 271 into 56 and 788 234 into 60.
Only if you get them right are you allowed to scroll down for the beautiful pictures!
Also it would help cover my train fare from uni to the farm by making a donation here.
Solution
I mean there’s not much to say about the math here! But do comment if you found other ways to do it.
The purple flowers are lilac. They aromas can be used as a natural fragrance without hormone disruptors.
The rays of light shining into my bedroom are just unreal, almost like I am living in a fantasy land where I am the protagonist ready to explore the uncharted waters nearby. Perhaps I would have a small pouch bag and a bow and a wooden sword.
I wonder how many kilos of bodyweight that swing on the tree can hold.
Of course Ginger the cat is laying around. I think he quite likes belly rub sometimes but doesn’t like getting picked up. Otherwise he would move around a lot and jump away!
The two pictures on the side show the same caravan. The right pic just vibes so well with the soundtrack of the Last of Us.
Oh and this is the beekeeping box. On top is one entrance. But there’s also another one on the side.
I am staying on this farm until 23rd of May, I will occasionally write a few math posts and also sprinkle in some pics. But I am planning to write a proper post and upload all the pictures along with my thoughts, commentary and poetry.
The WiFi here is a bit slow at the moment so it took quite a long time to wait and upload these pics. But hey if you read till here, thank you!
