Math Games: The Catriona Agg Geometry Compendium
A Collection of 314 Colorful Geometry Puzzles
I have always been a big fan of fun and light-hearted geometry puzzles. The reason being it often brings such joy and intellectual satisfaction when you finally crack the code or find the short cut.
Thanks to the internet, we have been blessed with countless math gems to enjoy in our leisure time. What has caught my eye most in the past few years are the hand-drawn geometry puzzles by Catriona Agg, who is passionate British mathematics teacher and has built quite a following on X and Bluesky sharing her ingenious geometry challenges.
The 18 slides below are part of her growing collection of beautifully drawn and colorful geometry puzzles. In total there are 341 of them.
At the moment she posts her latest puzzles on Bluesky.
So I thought to myself there’s nothing better to do than solve all of these puzzles and post my solutions on Math Games.
I am planning to write about one of these puzzles roughly every other day. So I guess we will soon become geometry savants by the end of 2027.
Every time we solve a puzzle together, I will mark it off on that particular slide. This should foster a sense of working towards something.
Now are you ready? Stay tuned for the 1st geometry gem tomorrow.
How exciting!
If you would like, you can help out the development of Math Games by making a small donation here. It would be greatly appreciated.
I’m in for the challenge! Thanks for the discovery!
